It follows him from age nine to age seventeen I just got back from a screening of 'Running with Scissors' and it was pretty darn funny and emotionally charged. There was definitely a lot of crying and it certainly looked genuine. This movie really captured the spirit of the book. I feel like I'm loving this movie the more I think about it, despite some unfavorable reviews.
